This whole concept really messed me up as soon as I saw it, and I definitely wasn’t the only one. Shout outs to @griffinmcelroy who really summed this one up beautifully. I love this awkward phase Nintendo is wandering into because I think it’s leading them to some fresh ideas that they have really needed for a while. Also, it lets me ask the question “which is your favorite Mario from E3? The one where he possesses a man on the street or the one where he has a gun?”
