Dumbledore was a great guy AND had the benefit of dying before he ever really had to answer for any of his bullshit. Besides, where any of the horribly dangerous and life threatening situations he allowed kids to get into really that bad or where they just great character building experiences? Who can say? Not him, he’s dead.
